The Town of Wilbraham is a suburban community with rural land beauty that was settled in 1731 and incorporated on June 15, 1763.  It is located 6 miles east of Springfield with a total land area of 22.22 square miles with 5048 homes and a total population of 14,900. Wilbraham has been named among the “Top 100 Best Places to Live” by Money magazine.

Wilbraham is a mix of historical landscapes, farm fields and tremendous westerly views.   The Wilbraham Mountain range is to the east.  Residents have easy access to numerous recreation areas including golf courses, shopping and other points of interest.  They are also very proud of their outstanding public education system where three elementary, one middle and one high school are available.  The Wilbraham and Monson Academy is a private college preparatory school highly esteemed for its academic excellence.

This lovely town offers its residents a charming old New England setting surrounded by large tracts of preserved open space and several working farms. Each year a volunteer group, of which Carlson GMAC Real Estate in Wilbraham is one, organizes an annual Peach Festival which celebrates the fruit orchards which adorn the town. Our office is also currently involved in the Rays of Hope Campaign and was instrumental in helping to raise a total of $875,000 through an organized walk of 11,000 people last year through our Company sponsor.
